About the Library

The Children’s Room at the Henrietta Public Library strives to offer a rich environment for children and their families to learn, explore, and socialize. We serve children from birth through middle school as well as providing resources for parents and teachers. We hope to stimulate young imaginations and promote a love of reading through our book collection, our programs, and the design of our children’s room.

Exposing children to literacy based activities sets the foundation for a future of strong reading and writing. We offer storytimes for children ages 0 - 5.  Our storytimes include stories, songs, rhymes, simple sign language, puppets, and sometimes even iPad activites!  Our programs will provide an enriching experience for children and their caregivers.

Please see the program calendar for dates and times.

We would love to come visit your daycare or school! If you are interested in having a storytime conducted at your facility, please contact children's librarian Laura Lintz at laura.lintz@libraryweb.org.

The Henrietta Public Library offers events to children of all ages throughout the year.  Check our calendar for special monthly programs and recurring programs such as Beginner Book Club, Tween Book Club, Family Dance Party, Storytimes, and many more!
