Start Planning Your Next Trip Now!
My husband and I recently returned from a 12 day trip to Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands. I used several websites that I found to be extremely helpful and useful during the planning phase. For all of our flights I use the website kayak.com. Kayak is a flight search engine that pulls flights and costs from all over the web into one space. There are handy filters that allow you to narrow down your results by flight length, departure and arrival times, airlines, seat location, etc. While in Europe, we took an overnight train from Munich to Amsterdam. Prior to this trip, I was not familiar with European train travel so I looked to The Man in Seat Sixty-One for all of my questions. This website covers everything (and I mean everything) you need to know about traveling by train in Europe. And finally, I loved the site herpackinglist.com which is a travel site created for female travelers. Her Packing List has hundreds of helpful articles that range from packing lists, travel gear reviews, to trip itineraries. With summer right around the corner there is no better time to start planning your next trip! -Annalise Ammer, Librarian
