August 21, 2013 at 9:29 AM

Do you have a Veteran in your family - a person who served in the US Armed Forces in WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War or some of the more recent Middle East Conflicts?  If you do, and you want to research, collect and preserve their experience, attend Researching Your Veteran’s Story at the Geneva Historical Society. This genealogy workshop is presented by CDR Victory “Tory” Failmezger USN, Retired, and author of An American Knight: A Tank Destroyer Story, the story of his uncle's service during World War II.

This workshop will be presented on September 7 at 10:30 am in the Hucker Gallery of the Geneva Historical Society, 543 South Main Street, Geneva, NY 14456.  Reservations are requested.  There is a $5 participation fee. For more information or to reserve a place in this workshop, call and speak with Karen Osburn or Sue Jones at 315-789-5151.
