More Characters than Twitter: Meet Virginia
Virginia Cooper is Henrietta Public Library’s Adult Services Librarian, and has been with us for thirty-five years. Even before working here, Virginia spent 10 years as a Librarian Assistant at the Central Library. Her tastes in literature are so vast that she can’t claim to have just one favorite book, though she is currently reading through The Little Red Chairs by Edna O’Brien. Her scholarly accomplishments include a Bachelors in Fine Arts from RIT, a Masters in Library Science from SUNY Geneseo, and a scuba diving certification from Hawaii. Making seven trips to Hawaii and traversing the Caribbean, Virginia claims that exploring is in her blood as she is related to the Donner Party.
