Meet New Board Member Doug Roesch
Doug Roesch is a native of West Irondequoit, graduating from Bishop Kearney High School in 1982. He went on to get a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Oswego. Doug currently works for Xerox where for over twenty years he has designed, implemented, and maintained numerous billing, reporting, order, and finance applications.
An avid reader, Doug credits his mother Mary Ann Roesch of Irondequoit for his lifelong love of books. “As far back as I can remember, my mother would always bring home books from our local library and encourage us to read. When we couldn’t pick out books personally, she would pick out books she thought we might be interested in. More often than not, she hit the nail on the head. She remains a voracious reader to this day. We often suggest books to each other and I’ve even turned her on to the milder Stephen King books in recent years.”
Doug currently lives in West Henrietta with his wife Rhonda and their twin boys Alex, a freshman at RIT, and Ben, a freshman at Syracuse University. His interests include genealogy, games, movies, and his beloved (but frustrating) Buffalo Bills.
