For those of you who have been embarking on summer decluttering projects, we'd like to remind you that our Friends of the Henrietta Library group accepts books, magazines, and other materials to sell in their Book Shoppe. The Friends use their earnings to support library programs and projects, including ALL our summer programs. The Friends gratefully accept up to six cartons or large bags at one time of books in good condition, CDs, books on CD, DVDs, puzzles, magazines (of popular interest in good condition), and text books. They cannot accept Reader's Digest condensed books, encyclopedias, professional journals, trade magazines, newsprint publications, records, cassette tapes, books on tape, VHS tapes, and books in poor condition (musty, soky, excessively dusty, loose pages, pages that are badly yellowed, no covers). You can drop materials off during any of the library's normal operating hours.
