A Bad Case of Stripes
We are excited to host a Reader's Theatre production of David Shannon's "A Bad Case of Stripes" as part of the Town of Henrietta's participation in Make a Difference Day! On Saturday, October 26 at 10:30 am, the Town of Henrietta Youth Asset Team will bring this children's classic story to life in their theatric version. This story is about a girl named Camilla Cream who loves lima beans but doesn't want to eat them because she wants to fit in with her other classmates. This causes Camilla to be stricken with a horrible illness. Her parents call on the help of several doctors who cause her illness to become much, much worse. Camilla's only hope is to be true to herself. This is a wonderful just-be-yourself kind of story, a great lesson for children preschool and up. The performance is free and will take place in the library's community room.
