New Periodicals

The Henrietta Public Library offers a wonderful and diverse selection of periodicals for our equally diverse clientele.  Our magazines range from the usual People Weekly and Sports Illustrated to the thought provoking New Republic and Utne, and business tomes of Forbes and Fortune to Science and Sesame Street.  We hope to please all our patrons with terrific magazines to fit everyone’s taste.  Starting in January 2008 the Henrietta Public Library will add the following new periodical titles to our collection:

  • Body and Soul is a magazine devoted to helping us achieve inner and outer peace and relaxation with healthy food, exercise and mental stress busters.

  • Domino is a new take on the home decorating ideas for the young and hip perhaps but it gives great ideas for all types.

  • National Geographic – Little Kids is published by the classic geographical society but for the very young.  Toddlers and preschoolers will delight in this new and colorful look at a very wide world.

  • Real Simple magazine offers advice and gives many, many ideas for making your home and life easier. This is a succinct but colorful publication packed with consumer tips which will leave you saying – why didn’t I think of that.

  • Finally, we will be subscribing to Yoga Journal which as its title implies gives everyone interested in yoga – from beginner to pro - tips and articles relating to meditation and yoga exercises.

As always I hope you will enjoy these new additions to our library’s magazine collection.
