June Is Audio Book Month!!

Many of us enjoy audiobooks on compact disc or cassette whether we are commuting to work, cooking, or quilting. Some of us have mp3 players and download books from the Monroe County Library System’s Overdrive audio collection. Let’s celebrate the month with these new audiobook titles at the Henrietta Public Library. 

Audition by Barbara Walters
Read by Bernadette Dunne, 21 compact discs.  This tell-all bestseller by the most important woman in television, recounts the life and struggles as Ms. Walters rises to the top of a male dominated industry while failed marriages and relationships leave heartache in her public and private life.

Compulsion: an Alex Delaware Novel by Jonathan Kellerman

Harvesting the Heart by Jodi Picoult

The Whole Truth by David Baldacci
Read by Ron McLarty, 9 compact discs. This newest thriller by Baldacci opens with a “You-Tube” like video broadcasting a terrified Russian telling of the demise of his entire family and the destruction of the world. Is it global militarization, a war on terrorism or manipulation on a grand scale?
