"Sleeper Keeper" of the Month

Starting this month’s update I would like to suggest my “sleeper keeper” of the month. This month’s choice, McLeod’s Daughters, is an Australian television series hybrid of the miniseries The Thorn Birds and Dallas. Beautifully filmed in Australia this series tells the story of two half sisters, Clair and Tess, who are reunited when they inherit Drover’s Run a huge sheep ranch. Separated as children the two women ignite sparks at first but learn to accept their fate and the legacy of Drover’s Run.
With their extended all-women family Tess and Clair meet the challenges of romance and hard work on the ranch with unrelenting heart and humor.
