History of Cemeteries in Henrietta, New YorkBrininstool CemeteryBrininstool Cemetery was established in 1810, and is located on the north side of Erie Station Road, approximately 0.15 miles east of East River Road. The gravestones in Brininstool were surveyed by Mary T. Douglas in 1923, Charlene Bean Guyer in 1968, Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Dows in 1979, and John Funt in 2000. Over the years the Brininstool Cemetery has had many names: as an unnamed cemetery displayed in the 1902 J.M. Lathrop & Co. Monroe County (NY) Plat Book on Map Plate 16, as the Mervin Cemetery shown in the 1924 G.M. Hopkins & Co. Monroe County (NY) Plat Book on Map Plate 21, and, as the Martin Cemetery in the 1941 G.M. Hopkins & Co. Monroe County (NY) Plat Book on Map Plate 28. The township of Henrietta, New York took over the management of the Brininstool Cemetery in 1990. Brown CemeteryBrown Cemetery was established in 1812, and is located west of the southwest corner the intersection of Pinnacle Road and Goodburlet Road on the south side of Goodburlet Road. The gravestones were heavily vandalized in the 1990s. The gravestones were surveyed by Charlene Bean Guyer in 1968 and by John Funt in 2000. The Brown Cemetery is managed by the township of Henrietta, New York. Bushman CemeteryBushman Cemetery was established in 1812, and is located on the east side of Telephone Road, 1.0 mile west and south of the intersection of Telephone Road and West Henrietta Road/U.S. Route 15. The gravestones were surveyed by Charlene Bean Guyer in 1968 and by John Funt in 2000. The Bushman Cemetery is managed by the township of Henrietta, New York. East Baptist Church CemeteryThe gravestones in the East Baptist Church Cemetery are located behind and to the west side of the church, which is located in the northeast corner on the intersection of Pinnacle Road and Reeves Road. The gravestones were surveyed in 1928 by Mary T. Douglas, in 1968 by Charlene Bean Guyer, and by John Funt in 2000. This cemetery has been referred to as the Reeves Road- East Baptist Church Cemetery. Maplewood CemeteryMaplewood Cemetery was established soon after the township of Henrietta, New York was established in 1818. It is located on the west side of Middle Road, 0.2 miles south of the intersection of Middle Road and Calkins Road and 0.4 miles north of the intersection of Middle Road and Lehigh Station Road. This cemetery has the largest number of gravestones. Maplewood Cemetery is managed by the Maplewood Cemetery Association, incorporated in 1896. The gravestone were surveyed in 1931 by members of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and by Charlene Bean Guyer in 1968. Riverview CemeteryRiverview Cemetery is located on the east side of East River Road, 0.5 miles north of its intersection with Lehigh Station Road. Over the years the Riverview Cemetery has had many names:

Tinker CemeteryTinker Cemetery was established in 1810, and is located on the north side of Castle Road, 0.4 miles west of its intersection with Winton Road South. The gravestones were surveyed by Charlene Bean Guyer in 1968 and by John Funt in 2000. Whitaker CemeteryWhitaker Cemetery was established in 1826, and is located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Calkins Road and East Henrietta Road. The gravestones were surveyed in 1968 by Charlene Bean Guyer and by John Funt in 2000. The Whitaker Cemetery is managed by the township of Henrietta, New York.
