About the Library
Meet the Trustees—David L. Pogue
David Pogue has been a resident of Henrietta since 1979, and a life-long resident of Monroe County. He has been a full-time member of the Criminal Justice faculty at MCC since 1981. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Rochester and a Law degree from Albany Law School. Mr. Pogue was formerly a Monroe County Assistant District Attorney and previously served as a lawyer for the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corp.
David has been married to Patricia J. Pogue for over 31 years, and has two adult children, Melanie and Darrell, both graduates of the Rush-Henrietta Public School system.
“I believe in Public Libraries because that is the place where citizens continue to learn when their formal education ends.”
Hobbies: Camping, hiking, canoeing and classic Country and Western music from the 1950’s, 60’s, and 70’s.
